Question Something weird is happening when tank is dark

Hi I have a 100 gallon heavily planted tank. I recently added quite a few plants and for some strange reason when I turn thre lights on my tank looks like an algae bloom has just happened, but then after a cpl hours with the lights on it is back to being clear as can be. This is just the strangest thing I have ever seen. Any ideas from anyone? I'm thinking a photosenthisis thing maybe...who knows. My other tank doesn't have this issue. Are plants like fish where you can't add too many at once.

Today I decided to turn the lights on earlier than usual and the tank was clear. The only conclusion I can come to is that if the lights are out for too long algae develops. Any thoughts?
