October 2007 Tank of the Month - "Contrasts"

"I was it bit burned out with the Aquarium hobby. Scrubbing the glass, taking out the plants because they had died, and constant battle with Black Beard Algae wore me out. I basically got to the point where I was either going to do away with the tank, or make some big changes." - Dan Pellegrini

What is that 3 this year so far.

Congrats Dan, always have loved this tank.

Of course it is WAAAAAY better in person,
and clippings from this tank are always lush, healthy and full of color.

Very nice!!! congrats. Did you experience lots of algae problems using 100% eco-complete in the begining. I know it is a very nutrient rich substrate?
