APC. John N., milalic, Gnatster, et al,
I have already submitted my entries for the Invertz Contest. I do not believe that APC is trying to steal anyone's pictures. I also believe that the use of the word steal was unfortunate. Having said these things, I want to point out that

In addition, the following is not an accurate representation of the wording used by other forums ...

... three of which I've quoted below ...
Aquaria Central Forum
"By entering your picture into the competition, you are accepting that your picture will be used without Aquaria Central Staff asking for your permission. The photograph will NOT be used outside of Aquaria Central."
Planted Tank Forum
"By submitting a photo for your competition you agree to give the Planted Tank permission to use your image anywhere on The Planted tank."
Aquatic Photography Forum
"By posting photographs in the APF Galleries, you give APF permission to have your photographs considered for POTW, and to display your photo on APF Portal and in the APF POTW Gallery. You still retain all rights to your phtographs, and we promise not to use them for ANY OTHER purposes. Nor will they be altered by us in ANY way."
Again, let me say I don't think anyone is trying to steal anything, but I do think that the wording used in the contest rules needs to be changed for everyone's peace of mind.
Thanks for reading this and good luck to all who enter,
Keep Smilin'
John
