APC Forum Main Page Not Loading Under Vista/IE8 - APC Forum Support

I recently 'upgraded' to Internet Explorer 8 and now I can't successfully open the main forum window in a regular tab - error says 'AI RoboForm assertion failed'. I can get the main forum open in an 'InPrivate' window. I am running Vista. I did not have this issue under IE7. Anyone else see this error?

my first sugestion would be trying to clear all cookies and see if that helps....

hi there

ive contacted the VB folks, to find out if there are any known issues with IE8 where VB forums are concerned. once i hear back, i'll let you know, and we can go from there. the reason i asked them this, is because I had installed UE8 on this pc, and had to uninstall it because it was causing problems, so thought it might help to ask them regarding the VB compatibility thing.

I found out the issue for my system. I use a virtual account number utility from my CC company which was interfering with the forum. If I killed the virtual account number utility, the process was called Obroker, the issue goes away. I see that this is apparently a known issue. For me, I can just kill the app and the OBroker process or run InPrivate. Hope this helps others.
