How come we dont have a longer edit time for posts?
It seems like we have only 24 hours.

Are we able to contact a mod for a forum section and request that the edit option be activated?

The time limit is set because of blatant abuse by previous members. I see your post for editing, I can fix the pictures for you later tonight.

btw, that's one of the reasons we suggest hosting pics on APC in the photo section here

In your tank journal I saw you had to re-post the pictures to fix broken links.

We suggest hosting pictures on APC that you use on the site so that links remain intact....

My experience is that they all show when an edit was made.
My issue is that the option to edit is very short.
I would like a buigger window of opportunity or at least be able to ask a mod to open up an edit window (for good reasons).

I feel the same way, it's frustrating when I sold out plants and I want to edit a sold sign after the plant. It's either I have to post in the thread that it's sold out (which some concur that I want my thread to go up the top). I tried copy and paste as a post- and it looks ridiculously repetitious. Lots of clutter.

Why can't the ability to edit be left open indefinitely in only the For Sale or Trade?
