Problem with subscriptions

I have changed my preferences to receive instant notification when there are replies to threads I have posted in. It doesn't seem to be automatically subscribing me when I reply and I need to manually subscribe each time I reply to a thread. Also, my last 5 threads in My APC is showing threads from several years ago rather than my most recent thread replies. I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong...Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. I never changed any of my settings but suddenly I started receiving notifications by e-mail for most of my subscribed threads but it still seems that I have occasional problems with subscriptions as there are times when I don't receive the notifications. I did check my junk e-mail settings and that did not appear to be the problem. So, I guess to answer your question, yes and no.

I thought I should update that everything seems to be working perfectly now so, thanks to whoever made the fix!
