I spend less than an hour a day on maintenance on all of my 8 planted tanks (10 to 38 gallon) - feeding, dosing, checking filter flows and I have Only the 38 gallon tank gets weekly water changes (EI dosing and CO2).

I spend on average 1 hour a day on research and just sitting in front of one of my tanks and watching (drinking my favorite beverage of course).

I spend about 15 minutes feeding and dosing my tanks. I spend close two hours checking and reading several planted tank fourms. Once I have the plants and fish that I want, I will probably cut back.

I spend maybe 11 hours. I say 4 hours of examining/feeding/checking equipment/dosing my tank and the rest is research. Most of that is because I am homeschooled.

Let me see....I have 2 x 4 feet + 1 x 2.5 feet + 1 nano tank. On a typical "water change + filter cleaning + algae scrapping + weed trimming + replant" day, it will take me 4 - 6 hours total in a week.

I spend no more than a few hours a day on the tanks/forum. Most of the two hours are on here looking for that plant that will set my scape and looking for the next awesome fish/shrimp. When I first got started I spent tons of time everyday messing with the tanks and trying to get new plants and stuff from everyone on here. Now that I know what I am doing I just try and maintain...

We spend at least 4 hrs per day, most of it is just watching at night while we're sitting around talking.

I spend about 3 hrs a day. It takes me 10 seconds to dose, maybe 1 minute - 1 hr maint depending on if it's time for a trim, and the bulk of the time I just sit and gaze into the scape (which drives me wife CRAZY! ).

I spend about 15 minutes on daily maitenence, feeding fish, dosing ferts, water top offs ect. About 2-3 hours during 50% water changes and trimming. And I usually spend about 2-3 hours just watching the aquarium while researching everything I can about planted tanks because KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!
