Needle wheel; great saturation, breaks the boundary layer.

Depends on tank size. I use needle wheel pumps for large tanks (100G+).

Glass diffuser for anything smaller...

Has anyone tried running the co2 into the filter inlet of a ZooMed 501 Canister Filter? I have one of these kickin around and I was thinking of trying it out since on the box it says "Includes special water pump motor that can run dry for up to 30 days without damage to the unit!". I would Imagine this way co2 bubbles wouldn't mess anything up as it can with other canisters.

I haven't gotten my pressurized co2 components yet, they are still in the mail but I have been thinking of trying it out.
