I have a small dedicated fish/plant room. Mostly plants, it has a drain in the middle of the room. It is very small and I sit in a corner on a kitty litter bucket to watch the fish. If I had my druthers I would have a little shed at the end of a garden full of fish tanks, old license plates on the wall, a tea kettle and burner, a turntable & lps and a really ratty chair with a piece of canvas thrown over it. I do have one ten gallon natural sort of tank near the tv in the loungey area of the house, so I can watch surreptitiously while still getting credit for being social. Happily married male w/one 6 y/o girl.

I live in a house with several housemates with shared common space. They've been nice enough to let me keep and maintain a 55 gal in our downstairs common space area, but all of my other tanks are kept in my room. Unfortunately, I was not able to vote for both "personal space" and "common space."
