5 gallon planted Betta tank - 78 F
10 Gallon planted Paradise Fish - 72 F
29 Gallon community - 72 F (cool water fish)

The 75-78 is perfect for me. My tanks are about 78 in summer, and about 75-76 in winter. No problems seen from the seasonal change.

1g - Wide range from 70 at night to 78 in the day (depending on light exposure)
2g - 72 to 76 depending on the time of day
10g - 74
10g - 78
14g - 72

Being that I am from Wisconsin that sounds hilarious. "set for 75 on colder days" A cold day around here is about 20 below zero
