Art,

If you'd put up some more ADA or Aquajournal items, I would be there in a flash.

I always check in there but don't find anything for sale. I would support sellers if there was anything for sale.

Maybe we should encourage more people to put up rare auctions here rather than Aquabid. But the problem is that the seller fears that his auction will end up going for cheaper than he expected, since only members are eligible for bidding?

What I questioned when I was considering an auction was the 'fee' here, as it didn't appear specified when I read the information (of course maybe I missed it?). I didn't know how much the fee would be to list the auction, whereas at Aquabid the fee is voluntary. Wasn't sure if the fee would make it worth my time to auction it.

There's no fee here. The Plant Auctions are free.

If you don't like the format, please post how you would change it.

Plant Auctions are reached through the "Auction" link in the header.

I have bought a few things from the APC auction, but tend to forget to look there often since there is seldom anything up for bids.

I guess I tend to lean more to Aquabid and E-bay just to concentrate the feedback in fewer places to build it more (if that sounds right).

That said, I think it was a very nice gesture to take the time to put something together like that for the APC members. I guess if it doesn't add that much to the bandwidth, it isn't hurting anything. If it's a huge addition, adding a lot to the database size for whoever does the backups, and loading the page for members, it may not be worth the effort.

They are nice and it was a really nice gesture like Jan said, but for me at least aquabid is enough and also offering up stuff in the for sale/trade forum. I always forget to check in the APC auction, it is easier to look on aquabid where there are always a ton of things.

I know it was a lot of effort, but with aquabid, ebay, trade forum, etc it is not necessary. Thanks though.

Where did I get the fee thing from? D'uh, ok. Well good, I'm glad it is free I may list some Pelia as soon as this stretch of cold weather subsides (if it does).
