You're kidding me, right bra? I promise you I don't think anyone's retarded.

I just have a lot of passion for aquascaping, and want to see it grow into a real art. For that, I comment in hopes of showing people how a serious artist think about his decisions. Well, all artists do things differently, but the mind set I use is probably the most common and basic way of thinking for someone determined to improve his artwork. Learned it through interacting with other artists in other fields after all.

Or rather, I show APC to my friends in artwork sometimes and they see it-- I am trying to create an art community inside this aquarium one. Whether anything I say actually works to that effect . . . that I'm not really sure about.

Good luck with the aquasoil and tank. Are you getting it from Kalihi Pet? I can't wait to start some more tanks when I get home and I'm sure that's the first place I'll go. If you go over there some time, say hi to Ron and those guys for me. In fact, if you go to any planted tank LFs on Oahu sometime, tell them I said "Hi." They might remember be. lol

Also, my drawings are in another post called "Discus Discus Discus!!!!!!!!", i was wondering if you could "spice up" the tank for me?? listen to my post after the drawings because I changed it a little.....thanks!!

i was just at kalihi pet yesterday.....my mom snuck me out of school at lunch just to beat after school traffic, I LOVE HER!! I'm not sure who was working but they said they're getting a shipment of 9-liter bags soon and they'll call me when it comes in.

Glosso....Lareger leaves, Ugly, Piles on top of itself and just looks foul.
LOL... I'm not sure I understand you, are you saying you don't like Glosso? haha I agree with Steven, its all what the person does with it. Amano used Glosso for years. Everybody used Glosso until Oliver Knott used HC, that was only what, three years ago? Two years ago? Glosso only grows on top of itself and looks unruly if you are too lazy to thin it out.

Maddog-- MIGHT remember me. Project sounds sweet. I'll try to help you with the drawing if I can. There's an "Aquasketching tutorial" in my sig, so just click on the link.

Robert-- You know it. There are also some fine scapes that use both

As you can tell by my avatar, I am OBSESSED with HC. It's actually the plant that finally got me interested in switching from Plastic Plants to Real Ones. I think it's just amazing at how fascinatingly tiny and cute the leaves are. There's really just no other way for me to explain it.

HC is far more difficult to plant but IMO it looks much nicer.
