Default should I order from Aquaspot?

Hi guys! I have ordered from Aquaspot before and was unhappy/happy with a few things...

CONS:
Didn't sell me the plants I wanted
Took 3+ weeks to get to my door

PROS:
Plants(that I didn't want)came in great condition.

The reason why I am asking, if I should order from Aquaspot again is that, they are the only website with plant quantities listed. Other websites do not say how many plants, stems, pots, etc. a "plant" comes with.

Need Help.

aquaspot is bad news. i made a big order (about $200) from them and it took three weeks to arrive. on top of that they did no effort to insulate their packages. mine was just very tiny plants carelessly thrown into an empty box. everything arrived as a dead brown mush totally unrecoverable. I sent them several E-mails and to took about a week for them to finally reply just to tell me they were NOT going to refund my money because they would lose money. so if you want good plants order from a place in the USA. I for one am never ordering from there again and am advising everyone I can to do the same

Should I order from a different plant store?(specify)
Everything I ordered from them was pretty much dead, or dying. I'd have an average of 1/10 stems alive. Shipping took for ever, and very expensive. No response from emails, until they were confronted on this site. I was told that I would be helped out with my next order. never again. They do have an amazing selection though.

I now order from Aqua botanic, one of our sponsors. Excellent experience.

A big NO. I just ordered plants from them and as others had said, it takes a long time to arrive. The plants are either rotting or almost dead (yellow, brown, dry) when it arrives. I took pictures of the plants and emailed it to them and it took a week for them to respond. The response is a blunt- NO replacement for basic shipping (which is expensive enough). The plants in their website pictures look great but the ones they send in tiny packets are sparse, short, and minimal size.

OK. Clearly aquaspot is not the place to order from.

Yup, same as above. I was able to salvage some of the mosses, but most everything was WAY dead. I thought about trying to resolve the issue, but what's the point of having them re-ship the order only to get another dead package?

Live and learn. I'm sure that if they could speed up the shipping (for extra cost, of course) that I may order in the future.....but that is a big "IF."

Is this whole post really appropiate in their sponsor forum? I sure wouldn't want to be a sponsor here if this was going to happen. At least shouldn't there be another place on APC for this conversation? If you are going to order plants mail order from 10 thousand miles away, how much responsibility does the buyer have?

Big--

What is it that the buyer could do? And, if the seller can't meet what their responsibilities are, then why shouldn't people be allowed to vent a bit? It is certainly not OUR fault; we traded $$ for plants that arrived in "dead" conditons. Maybe it is conversations like these that will expidite some sort of change, and end up helping the seller in the long run.

Pulling the wool over our eyes and only posting praise doesn't change anything, now does it?
