I get about 2 months out of one running at 1 bubble/second, but I use a solenoid so it's only on for 10 hours a day. Run 24/7 at that rate, I'd guesstimate you'd get a bit less than a month out of one.

I love mine and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to someone, but considering the cost of refills I'd call the solenoid almost a neccessity.

I do use the ADA solenoid myself, but any solenoid should work fine.

I run mine at about 2 bubbles per second for 12 hours per day and I got just about 4.5 weeks out of mine. If you haven't tried them You should. I Love mine, plus they have a really nice scent added to them so my office smells like the amazon (in a nice way of course). Stoked!

Generally the cartridge lasts about one to two months for our customers.
