Default Recommended dosing rates of all ferts

Jeff,

In trying to only have to order once, and for the convenience of others, can you list the recommended dosing rates of all the liquid ferts. For the Brighty steps, how long do you stay with each step?

Might be asking for a lot here, but I feel it is quite important to get feel for.
Thanks

(example: Green Brighty Step 1: 1ml/5g per day. Start dosing 2 weeks after setup and continue for 3 months)

I started the list to make it a little easier

Green Brighty Special LIGHTS:
Green Brighty Special SHADE:

Green Brighty Step 1:
Green Brighty Step 2:
Green Brighty Step 3:

Brighty K

ECA:
Green Bacter:
Green Gain:
Python Git:

Certainly.

For the STEP series:
STEP ONE- Sprouting stage/ up to 3 months after planting. This will depend somewhat on the type of layout/plants used. As with all dosing there's an observation factor as to progress/overall health. A fast growing, multi-species layout would likely be ready to move to STEP TWO a couple of weeks sooner than a slower growing or perhaps more minimalistic layout.

STEP TWO- Growing stage/ 3 months to 1 year

STEP THREE- Maturing stage/ 1 year +.

The dosage for all the STEP SERIES is 1 pump (pre-measured to 1ml/pump on the bottle) per 20 liters (5 gallons) daily- so 1ml per 5 gallons daily. The STEPs and Brighty LIGHTS and SHADE all come in either 250ml ($11.00) or 500ml ($18.00) bottles.

Green Brighty LIGHTS and SHADE and Brighty K are also 1 push (1ml) per 20 liters (5 gal.) daily (but adjusted to needs of the layout.)

Of course, as with any dosing, you will want to adjust or dial-in the amount to use according to layout and species used. The same common sense principles apply to the use of ADA liquids as apply to any other dosing regimen/ liquid fert. system.

I am awaiting a reply from ADA Japan regarding exact dosing amounts for Phyton-Git, Green Gain, Green Bacter, and ECA. I recall from experience (with with 2 of these products before) them being fairly concentrated- in the 1 drop per 10 gallon range. I know, again they are concentrated forms so they are perhaps not a bad value considering their specialized applications. By specialized applications I mean to suggest that Amano has develpoed the products- substrates and liquids in particular- from the standpoint of the special needs of AQUASCAPING and not just "plant growing". Products like Green Gain and Phyton-Git strike me as answers to problems arising from actions like trimming dense stands of stem plants and the resulting variables of generating new, lush growth as quickly as possible and in a balanced way/more proportionately to other species in the same layout.
Either way, you still need to know ahead of time how much to use in order to make a decision and I will have that info. and post it in plenty of time to still place an order if you decide you are interested (order to placed with ADA Japan Monday, January 10- orders received up to that morning will make it on the shipment, no problem).
