Default ADA availability

Can we expect ADA to remain here in the US for long? Even several years from now?

Too bad I missed the first order deadline. How often will you place orders with Japan?

Chris

Thumbs up

Like all matters of trade/commerce and availability, it will depend on demand. The first order well exceeded expectations, so that looks good. We will make some final pricing assessments after receiving the first batch of goods from Japan and take it from there. We have a more intensive marketing push planned in order to further exposure and the ultimate goal is to get the products into your LFS- right alongside the substrates they already carry so you the customer can decide. To do this, again though, takes demand. I am confident however that once the early-adopters start reporting their results, demand will increase significantly.
So far the 2 tanks I have done with the products (substrate) have made incredible progress with extreme ease of management. From my experience, results at this point in the layout were achieveable with other products, but the amount of input/issue management was far greater than with the ADA. If there is a single stand-out variable in respect to the substrate right now, that would be it. Absolute ease of management.
So far the line has done everything I thought it would. Did you catch Oliver Knott's posts on the AQUASCAPING forum from last week? Speaks volumes, IMO, especially coming from someone with a lot of long-term usage experience as well as having been to ADA/spent time with Amano and staff gaining first-hand knowledge we can still only speculate about. I plan a trip to Japan this year to further my knowledge of the line also. I will post updated shots of the 90cm tank here in Gallery ADG very soon/tonight also. We are dedicated to making the ADA product line available at some level regardless- but we need your help in order for it to make it to your corner shop/keep the price down.
We will place orders as often as we receive orders. We do however need to hit a prescribed $ amount to keep it reasonable on the freight charges. Also, if I am receiving consistent orders for specific items, I will definitely move to stocking/inventory those items for immediate availablity. Again, this takes a little time and support. Just know we are dedicated and passionate about making ADA available permanently in the US and are planning accordingly! Nothing ventured nothing gained. I want to progress the hobby so badly- because it is only then that we (and especially the newcomers!) gain easy access to all the best of everything- products, plants, WOOD!!!, etc.

That would be great if ADA becomes available on the local level.

Right now I see the order date is TBA. So will it be determined after you get some orders? I've been waiting for the date to come up so I can order. I don't know if others are doing the same, might clear up misunderstandings.

Rolo,
Yes, I need to build up a few more orders to set the next placemant date. I will clear this up on the site- I thought it might be a bit confusing. Thanks for the heads-up. You may go ahead and place an order if you like in the meantime. You can wait for the date to be announced to proceed with payment. Just choose the "phone in credit card option" to proceed with checkout.
