Question What size Lilly Pipes for Eheim 2026 Filter

Hello,

I want to use an Eheim 2026 for my 90-P. What size Lilly Pipes would work with this filter? I believe the hose size is 16/22. Can I use the ADA clear hose with this filter? IF so which size?

Thanks,

Neely

If both the inflow and outflow are 16/22 mm, then you use the 17mm Lily Pipes = Inflow: V-7 17mm, outflow: P-6 17mm.

But for the 90-P I recommend an Eheim 2217 because the inflow is 17mm (so you'd use Lily Pipe Inflow V-7 17mm, which fits fine) and the outflow tubing is 13mm, so you use Lily Pipe outflow P-4 13mm. This P-4 13mm outflow is the prescribed size for a 90-P. The 17mm outflow (P-6 17mm) is a little too big for the 90-P.

From: http://www.aquaticeco.com/subcategor...ectors/62050/0

These may work for you: 62050 Tubing Adapters, Connectors, 5/8" barb x 1/2" barb In Stock $0.98

If you would do this, do you think that you may have flow problems?

FWIW, I've got these (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/22...f_Reducer.html) on an XP1 to use with 13mm Lilly knockoffs. I've got no flow issues at all.

I only have about 1 1/2" of original tubing attached to the filter, and then the reducers into the smaller tubing. Works great.
