I want to add Amazonia II to my planted tank. Can I do so without removing all the plants and fish

What type of substrate do you have in your tank? I recommend removing and redoing your tank if you are planing to add new substrate. Might want to post this in the substrate thread.

I personally wouldn't because of the all the spikes in the water chemistry, with fish and shrimp fatalities being the most apparent result. I would haphazard guess that if you must do it, at least soak the Amazonia in a bucket of water first to gradually wash off all the chemicals. Maybe do it couple of times. In my exp, it is better to just remove all the livestocks first bec it is just not worth risking losing them.

Paul is right-- it is not advised to add Aqua Soil substrate in this manner.
