hi, im new to this forum but Im setting up an ada tank and have the solar II with the lighting stand fixture. The light came with the hanging cables tied up so it can just be hooked through, but I took it up apart because it was too short and can't get it back to how it was tied together before. Does anyone know how to hang these lights safely and also how to fix them to the lighting stand as it seems to just freely slide back and forth.

if the cables are of small diamater you can go to the hard ware store and buy a cable clamp it you dont want it to freely move then cinch the cables tightly to the mount or with rubber(black) and TA-DA its mounted for a $5 price and you dont have to redo the manufacturer standard.
