Default Need some suggestions on rock layout

This tank will be mostly all rock. With maybe some Vals and anubias. Seeing as it only has about 1.5 wpg, heavy fish load, no ferts or co2 i doubt even those plants would last more then a month. They would be trimmings from my planted tank anyway so I don't care.

But anyway I need help with the rock layout. I have an undless supply of this slate and I want to build something nice. Here is what I have so far.
Just set up the tank today.

After playing with it a bit in photoshop I came up with this:

I would appreciate any suggestions or comments. I'm having a hard time working with these rocks.

it would make a great tanganikan tank! what fishes are you expecting to keep?

i like it so far. i;d use some anubiad along the rocks. (between them and the glass), but that's my humble non-professional opinion.

Rock-work looks very natural. I like it.

Any scape would work, but the planting looks unnatural in the second one. Maybe use some Petite nana inbetween some of the crevices and maybe C. parva towards the base of the rock scape towards the back. Or will they just uproot while spawning in the sand?

For the first one, the C. helferi would look great in the right corner with maybe Micro tenellus at the base of Cyperus to enhance that grassy-look.

I'm trying to keep as little plants as possible seeing as it has very little light and no co2 or ferts.

I like it!
Looks very natural, as the Raul-7 said ~.o

You may put some anubias nanas, at the feet of the left rocks, it may be nice ^^
And, the rigth rock looks too like a "piramide".. maybe if u cut itīs top, and make a shape more retangular, it will be better.

Anyway, good work!

OK I think this is the layout I'm gonna go with. I might put some anubias nana around the base of both pile of rocks. I'll post the final product sometime this week when everything is in.

I wish

Its only 30 gallons. I might go with a Tanganyika Mini-Community.
I'm not dead set on what fish I want. I might just go with a large group of TigerBarbs and cories.
