Default Is this possible?

Dear All

I am planning a 120 cm X 60 cm x 60 cm aquascape . I like the iwagumi style of rockscapes but at the same time would like a densly planted ( stem plants ) background.

Is this a good choice or better not to mix the two styles ?

All opinions , advice and ideas welcome.

There are no aquarium police, I say try it and see. if you don't like it, adjust it. Thick growth of stem plants may cover the rock work in time but with pruning you could get quite creative.

Absolutely. This is an art form, not a religion. Try it. Share photos. I'm sure you'll get lots of comments. If it looks good, others will imitate it. If it doesn't, it's a simple matter to re-scape. Have fun.

I totally agree.... Do what YOU would like, what YOU would enjoy to see and work on. If other people don't like it thats thier problem not yours. If you put it togeather and are pleased with how it came out.... well thats all that really matters isn't it?
