Default New tank I just set up---ADA 60H

Just set it up like 10 minutes before this shot. Dont mind the bubbles on the glass. What do you all think? BTW there is a ton of giant hairgrass in the back that will fill in but you cant see it right now.

Cool looking...more info?

I think the the scape would look good with some narrow leaf flooding inbetween the crevice of the two rocks...just my opinion.

The gap between the rocks needs something because the eye concentrates there. They are too bold right now.

Too symmetric for my taste. Why not try a golden ratio? Move the rocks to one side, about 1/3. And/or try one rock vertical, one horizontal; one driftwood vertical, one horizontal.

I see and agree with what others have said. However, I personally would wait and see how it looks as it starts to fill in. Trying something new is always fun, you don't always succeed but you always learn something. I think that using symmetry can work though the junction between the two rocks, especially with the little rock right at the apex, may be a little strong.

Ya that gap between the rocks is bugging me. Prob is I dont really know what to do with that spot. I was thinking maybe a plant right there to soften it. Dont really have a whole lot of room for another rock there. Oh well, I will let it fill in and see.

Narrow leaf java & Anubias nana (petite might be better) are always a good combo. Maybe tie one to the small rock in the center, and add a few others around the scape to balance it.

I was thinking the exact same thing, maybe just a few nice clumps of nana petite placed in the center of the two large rocks. And then a few smaller accents placed low on the wood, and where the wood and rock meet to just sort of soften it all...
