Hello. My name is matt and my facination with planted tanks started this year. I started when my roomate set up our 72 gallon bow front in our living room. When looking online i found out about planted tanks and i was hooked.

My 55 gallon. Been set up for about 2 months now

• Power Compact Lighting- 2-6700k 65 Watt 2-10000K 55 watt
• Milwakukee MA957 Co2 Regulator with Bubble Counter and Inline C02 reactor
• 4 Bags Eco Complete

• 9 Rummynose Tetras
• 4 Discus
• 4 Corydoras
• 3 Ottos
• 1 Large Shrimp
• 3 Ghost shrimp

Plants:

• Alternanthera reineckii
• Cobomba
• Amazon Sword 1 Marble Amazon Sword
• Duck Weed
• Star Rotala
• Wisteria
• Ludwigia repens
• Sagittaria platyphylla
• Rotala indica
• Red Rubin

2 months? wow. your plants certainly look healthy. when i was 2 months into the hobby, my plants looked it they were going to...erm. lets not talk about it O_o you've got it working very well. now, aquascape! i can see nicely contrasted leaf sizes/shapes, a fore/mid/background clearly defined too at some parts. Try replanting the stem plants behind or trimming them real short for a midground. just about refining. good luck!

Man, you just gave me an idea...i am going to coax all my frens into this hobby by giving them planted nano tanks for their bdays :grins:

I like it! Not too sure about the sword in the center background....it sticks out a bit too much. But I really like how you used the stargrass as a foreground plant!!! That looks very nice!
