if your not using a co2 system should you be using some type of fertilizer for the plants in the tank or will they eventualy start to grow with out it

Even with CO2 you still have to regularly fertilize your plants if you want them to grow and look healthy. So if you don't have CO2 you really should still be adding some ferts.

what kinda ferts are recomended i mean tabs liquids what is better or easier to use

seachem is a really good brand of ferts...you can use the tabs for nutrient hogs like swords and lilies and even crypts love them...most people dose what they dont already have provided in there water..like mine i have low potasium so i dose extra to be safe...but test your water do weekly water changes and dose regulary with what you need but dont over do it because you will end up with algae issues~happy fish keeping

yes the tank has been set up for quite some time now i have four amazon swords in it a giant anubus which is the only one that is realy growing curently and a crypt that i cant seem to keep the main problem with my plants is i have cichlids and well we all know they eat the plants at the time i didnt know but hey we all learn if i new how to post a pic i would show you what it curently looks like

do you have a photobucket account? you could go on there and upload them or you can upload them to a personal file...i cant remember how but i have one i think you can go into your control panal and find the link there to upload them or you could email them to me...ha ha additudesrme@aol.com

well i sent them to yoru email dont knwo if it worked your tanks look very nice someday i will have somethin that will look decent lol untill then i will just stare at what i got

okay well leave the crypt alone it will settle in and grow put some tabs under it to get it going...the sword too...hell all the tanks but also dose with liquid ferts so the anubias will get some too
