Default mini tank and stone statue

hi all ,
I am new comer ,This is mini tank , 35 x 18 x 18 , I set it up one month ago . But the plants have grown up so slowly due to no CO2 and ( may be poor substrate also ). dont ask me about the name of plants because i dont know , i bought it at aquarium shop .
