hi guys,

i thought i'd come and invade your shores with a bombardment of posts and images! the UKAPS guys get a gut full of me....

anyway, my name is mark from the UK. I've been in the hobby for about 1 year and 4 months now, but learning as fast as i can. some may of seen me on other forums.

thats a small snippet of my last 12 months. i plan on starting a journal on my current tank and one that is still going. it's a public display for my LFS which is helping to expand the hobby.

this is my current set up.(hardscape)

thanks hooha, yes it's been a manic 13/14 months. I've tried to soak up as much info and scaping techniques as possible.

here's the MA scape as it is now. it's had a bout of trimming in the last few days, so there are definable lines. i need the grasses to grow back. there are still stray cardinals in there too, which are to be removed

Maaaan, only 1 yr and 4 mons? you are a quick learner! All your scapes look great!

So do you do a mock up of the layout before you finalize it or do you pretty much have the final picture in your mind as you set it up? I for one have never been blessed with such future sight.
