This is my first attempted planted aquarium. I set this scape up 2 weeks ago, December 2011. =) The plants are growing in slowly ...
The aquarium itself has been up since August '11, with some of the plants. I wasn't happy with the look at all, so here's a total renovation :U


medium lighting,
weekly dose of Flourish, every 3 days dose of Iron, daily dose of Excel CO2

* dwarf hairgrass,
rotala indica,
water wisteria,
four leaf clovers,
water sprite,
rotala rotundifolia,
giant baby tears

* fancy guppies
cardinal/neon tetras

The black background came with the tank.

The rocks are all found in my backyard, except for a hidden one on the right side which is made of plastic ehehe. :P

I'll note that I was limited in the scaping, because a filter is built into the back wall ; there are little holes every few inches in the wall where the water exits, so those can't be completely blocked by substrate. :P I tried my best to limit the water flow with rocks, so the plants won't all uproot and fly everywhere LOL.
