Default Decent rock?

Anyone know where to find some around our area? Even That Fish Place had a rather sad selection, as least when I went.

I recently visited a local quarry (VINCI) here in MD. They had a large amount of nice rock and the nice part is that it's super cheap compared to the LFS; about $0.30 / lb.

The only issue is that they generally don't have the smaller rocks. I bought a few large ones to break up to make smaller rocks.

Hmmm that's a ways to go for rocks but sometimes I'm down in the DC area. And 30 cents/lb is very reasonable. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, this is more in the Baltimore area so it's not quite as far as DC from Philly.

Check with your local garden center, stone yard, or block wall company too. Many have landscaping stones and dismantled New Endland stone walls that you can pick through.

Cheers.

French Creek runs through my parents property. It has some beautiful stone in it. If your interested in taking a walk through we can do a road trip.

Hey, thanks! I might be up for that sometime. All the rivers in my area are gross and polluted, ha.
