I have seen a lot of posts using the Magnum 350 as a Co2 reactor, but, being a newbie, I have no idea how you set that up. Any advice and/or pictures would be helpful. And if you can tell me that it is cheap to set up, great, b/c my wife is pissed that I spent 200 on a Current USA 4x65W PC.

Get yourself a pack of those white foam air diffusers. Now take the double-ended plastic barb that you use to connect the diffuser to the airline and drill a hole in the top of the Magnum's intake strainer so that one side of the barb fits snugly into the hole. Connect the tubing from your CO2 bottle to the other end of the barb.

Now between the CO2 bottle and the Magnum you should probably install a check-valve to prevent back pressure from the filter forcing water into your CO2 bottle. Installing some form of bubble counter/scum catcher inline would probably be a good idea, too.

That's about it, except the hose barb is optional. You can just drill a hole to match the OD of your tubing, make it snug, and shove some tubing in, about an inch will do. I use a foam pre-filter on my inlet strainer, so I have to disassemble it to clean the foam. The tube is easy to just pull out of the hole, and shove back in.
