Why not? It's a nifty lil gadget that moves CO2 nicely. Only downside would be whenever stupid snails get on the ladder, they would block the bubbles from traveling up.

Hummm, interesting. What are the details for your setup? Why do you need CO2?

Initially, it would seem to me that if you have a brackish environment you would need to maintain a high PH for the animals you are planning to keep. Adding CO2 would not be condusive to this. I would be very interested to hear what you're planning cause it sounds new and different (at least to me)!

Actually im planning to set up a slightly brackish environment for a figure 8 puffer fish. Im planning on planting my tank with;
java moss
java fern
vallisneria spiralis
green hygro
and anubias barteri nana

After researching for couple of days
I found out that thoses plants should all do well in "slightly" brackish water and low light condition (i have 28 watts for 20g)...

My tank is a high 20g ... 20 X 10 X 22.

I really love plants in general (my apt is full of them ) and it is really important to me that the plants im going to put in my tank are full and healthy and that is the reason why I was wondering about getting a Co2 diffuser.

I know that figure 8 puffer and the plants I choses could do well in a Ph between 6 to 8 so I don t need such a high ph.
My water has a density of 1.008.

So what do you think should i go for the co2??
