i was given a whole bunch of aquarium equipment from a friend. i recieved a 40gallon, its about 36x18 an fairly short. i received a eheim pro cannister filter, two 201 powerheads, and a quiksand fluidized bed filter (as well as an HOB filter im gonna give away probably). I was wondering how the quiksand filter needs to be setup, since i didn't get any instructions, and whether i should use both powerheads. should i even use that stuff or will the cannister filter be enough? i hear the quiksand filter will make my water crystal clear. i wouldn't mind that

btw i am going to have 60lbs eco-complete on the bottom. i already have some plants and i'm adding more, and also some driftwood will be in there. i currently have angelfish, rasboras, and sae in my 30gal with a 36" cora life aqua light that im transferring to the 40 gallon

one more question, how can i thoroughly clean all the tubes and filters and everything? they were used on a turtle and i wanna make sure they're sterile before i start
