[Wet Thumb Forum]-just bought new lights, need to build a hood

i just bought a VHO ballast, 2 48in 6500K bulbs, and one 48in reflector, i dont know why i didnt think of it at the time, but i have a 55 gal, and i should have gotten 46.5in, but to late now, so any tips on how to build a hood, i have a design in mind, but i need to make a "C" brack or something to make up for the fact that the lights and tank are the same lenght, if there is a website out there with a step-by-step or if someone has done the same please direct me to it

I made mine out a sheet of mdf, hindges, a handle and some scrap wood for my 55 gallon tank.

hey 666power, i don't know of any sites that have info on this but, are you going to match up the hood with the stand? If so, what kind of stand is it going to be on?
