Default Light Bulb Question

Has anyone used these bulbs before? Any comments?

Planning to start a canopy for a 125 with 6 to 8 of these bulbs.

I haven't used them, but this isn't a cheap way to get lots of good light. Far better to go to AH Supply and get good reflectors along with good bulbs, at a low price. You could use 3 of their 96 watt kits and have more than enough light.

I agree w/ Hoppy. That is not a cheap solution for lighting and you lose a lot of illumination w/ those spiral bulbs, so you'd actually be paying for quite a bit of wasted light.
