Default light stand

right now my light rests on top of two small strips of wood laying ontop of the tank rims. my light is not supposed to be run over open water, but its been set up like this for about a yr with no problem. id like to do something better looking though. ive seen pics of a coat hanger bent to fit the side of the tank and then support the light a few inches above the water, so thats an option. i always had in mind cutting a peice of plexiglass to fit the tank top and then cut the front like 5 inches off, reattach it with hinges as a door to feed fish clean and then cut a hole in back for the filter. anybody have any other ideas/pics of theyre setups?

Haha, glad you saw my thread with the coat hangers. The plexi glass idea should work, just make sure its thick enough to now bow with the weight of the light.
