I have a 1.5g classic old school tank. Chromed metal frame and black tar sealant. I have cleaned this tank up, and resealed the inner seams with black silicone.

My plans: low tech – no heater, no filter, no chemicals, natural lighting.

This tank has been sitting for the last 24h with 1” of fluorite gravel on the bottom and a piece of driftwood. I would like to attach some Nanas to this driftwood, or some Java Fern.

But what else can I add in the way of flora or fauna?

Looking for advice on still water tanks.
David.
