I know some fish I want for sure, but then I have a long list of want to own someday but I don't know if they will work in the tank.

I have had no luck with tetras, so they are out. I have a school of emerald eye rasboras in my 10g planted that I never see, so I'd rather not go that way again.

For sure I want a large school of pygmy cory cats (15-20). I would really like some blue eye rainbow fish and will probably need a small school of otos.

Other fish I like was thinking of: scarlet badis, a single dwarf gourami, and then something to swim in the middle.

1. Would this overstock the tank if I did not add them all at once
2. Suggestions for other suitable fish in the mix

Thanks!
