Default co2/PH dilemma

I have a 75 gallon heavily planted aquarium. I run "aquariumplants.com" electric carbon doser with Milwaukee PH meter. Here's the problem. I've noticed that the regulator is not shutting off. The meter is set to dose co2 when PH gets above 6.8. It's read 7.2 for 4 days now and the regulator counter is in the tens of thousands. I reset it last Sunday when doing my water change. Sooo, I figured the PH probe needed to be recalculated. Place in solution and it was spot on. Then, I tested tank PH with my lil pool PH test kit and found it to be 7.2 as well. What am I missing here? It's dosed co2 for 4 days straight and is still holding at 7.2? BTW flora and fauna are doing great, but it used to drop PH relatively quickly after water changes. I'm at a loss here. Any help is appreciated.

3 things come to mind:

1 leak( if I was a betting man)

2 empty co2 tank.

3 faulty component.

Thanks for the reply Tab. After further investigation it seems my 8 month old little rambler apparently found her way into my cabinet and pulled the wire from meter to solenoid out just enough so it was not being "told" to come on by the meter. It was not noticeable at first, but I found it. Everything's back on track now. This kids gonna be the death of me.
