Default Cigarette Filters and CO2 Tubing Dimensions

Hi,

Could someone tell me if these dimensions are o:k for co2 tubing:

1/4" O.D., 1/8" I.D., 1/16" Wall.

Also, does anyone use the cigarette filters as a diffuser for their CO2? If so, could you please tell me how long one lasts.

Thanks,

KLT

Almost any small tubing will work to transport CO2 as long as it is made of a material that doesn't leak CO2 excessively through the material. So, your tubing dimensions are fine. The other consideration, and a major one, is do you have fittings to match the tubing so you can connect it at each end.

I have no idea how a cigarette filter would work as a diffuser, except that I can't see it holding together in the water for very long.

Here's the regulator I bought:

http://www.aquariumplants.com/AQUARI...ST_p/co2-1.htm

and I want to connect that to a ladder.

Sorry, I am constructionally challenged in this matter never having seen any CO2 equipment before (petshops were sold out). So would that tubing work for this? It is suppose to by Tygon tubing.

Thanks,

KLT
