Default Eheim Po 3 2075

I just bought a Eheim Pro 2075. Stumbled through the priming process. The problem I noew have is that the intake pickup & tubing are sucking a lot of air into the filter. I've checked the installation kit connection & tubing connections. I can find no place that this air is being picked up. Any one have any ideas. Would appreciate any wisdom.
Cheers, gary

mine takes a long time to prime and get all the air out of the filter headspace, i have to shake the stupid thing to get it all out. if you are using the stock intake, there is a cap on top for priming, that would be a likely place to be pulling in air. also make sure your intake isnt near an airstone or diffuser. seems obvious i know but sometimes the obvious is the culprit
