What is a P3t?
A P3t is a virtual pet that can be cared for, trained, and battled. They have different Battle Stats and will level-up during battles. Leveling up occurs when a P3tz experience is at 100%. When they level up the statistics are increased.

P3tz also get hungry, every day, and will require food to prevent them getting so hungry that they lose health! When a P3tz health reaches 0 the P3t will die.

To keep a pet fed and healthy you will have to feed it and prevent it being killed in battle!

P3tz are displayed next to your name on messages you post in the forum. They are also displayed in your user profile. Your P3tz can be quickly found by going to the P3tz Home which is a link in the P3tz menu in the main navbar.

Clicking the image of a P3t will take you to the pet profile. This is where you can use an item, view the P3tz statistics, and spells the P3t has learnt.

If a P3t dies it can be resurrected by clicking the resurrect link in the P3tz Profile of the pet. You can also create a grave as a memorial for your P3t in the graveyard.

P3tz Stats
Ok so you may notice P3tz have a few different statistics. They are explained below.

Health
The health displays the current health compared to the maximum health the P3t can have. You should keep this value above 0 otherwise your P3t will die.
Hunger
The hunger is how hungry the P3t is. This is displayed as a percentage so you should keep it low. If your P3tz hunger is too high your P3t will start to lose health.
Age
The age displays how old the P3t is in days.
Moral
The moral of a P3t determins how good or evil the P3t is. P3tz moral can vary between -100 and +100. Staying around the middle will keep the moral neutral. Moral effects which spells can be used in battle. All spells can be learnt but only spells that match the Moral of the P3t can be used.
Strength
The strength is used in battles and determines how hard the P3t can hit.
Defence
The defence is also used in battles and determines how much damage will be reduced when the P3t is hit in battles.
Agility
The agility again is used in battles and is used to determine the chance of the P3t hitting or evading another P3t in battle. The agility of both P3tz is used to determine hit chance.
Experience & Level
Experience is gained through battle and when it reaches 100% the P3t will level up and the experience will return to 0.
Battle Wins & Losses
The total battles, wins, and losses are also displayed on a P3tz Profile. These basicly provide an idea of the P3tz battle history. An accomplished champion or a first rate punch bag?

Creating An Egg
Locate the Vet. It is a link in the P3tz main menu and also on the P3tz navbar which is displayed on all P3tz pages.

Once you are at the Vet find the 'Create a P3tz Egg' category which is under the 'Vet Items' category. Simply click the 'Click here to create a new egg' link.

Now you can choose parents (if you have some P3tz) and select a name.

It's worth noting that you can't select a gender. Though it is possible to decipher the gender from the egg. However, I'm not going to tell you how to do that!

It is also possible to know what color your pet will be. The large spots on the egg will show you the color of the embryo.

When you are finished hit the submit button!

Creating A Pet
Only certain members may create a pet. If you cannot you will have to create an egg instead. You could also adopt a pet from the Pet Shop if there are any there!

To create a pet access the Vet and find the link to 'Create a Pet'. When you click this link you will be presented with the different options.

First choose a pet type. You will only be able to select a pet that you can actually afford. The price of each type is displayed.

The other options are Name, Gender and Color.

When you are finished hit the submit button.

Trading a Pet
P3tz can be bought or sold from the Pet Shop which can be accessed either from the P3tz menu or on the P3tz navbar when viewing a P3tz page.

Buying
To buy a pet from the Pet Shop simply click the 'Buy' link that is displayed under the Strength, Defence, Agility of a pet. The link will also contain the price that the owner has decided to sell this pet for. If you can afford the pet then the points will be deducted from your account and credited to the previous owners account. You will instantly recieve ownership of the pet.

Selling
P3tz can be sold via the Pet Shop. While a pet is advertised in the Pet Shop it is still under your possession so you will still have to keep it alive!

When you sell a pet you can enter a brief description of the pet. This is displayed in the Pet Shop so it is worth writing an inviting description. You will also select the asking price. Note that you will have to pay tax on the price of the pet so remember that.

Pet Items
There are two places you can buy items for your P3tz, the first is the Market and the second is the Vet. The market sells food items and a few special items like name change, pet re-color and kill items. The Vet sells heal items.

Items have different costs, stock levels and effects to moral. Items may also only work with a specific type of pet. If an item is too expensive for you to afford or out of stock you will not be able to purchase it.

Enter either the Market or the Vet. You can use the P3tz menu to do this or the P3tz navbar from a P3tz page.

Find the item you would like to buy. Each Item has an icon, name, description, stock level, effect, and cost. You can't buy an item if you do not have enough points or if it is out of stock. So check both these fields and only choose one you can actually purchase. Also take note if the item can only be used on a certain pet!

The cost of the item is in the Buy column. Click this link and a confirmation message will pop up, click ok to purchase. Once you purchase the item it will appear in your inventory. This is how you know if the purchase was successful.

If you are in the Vet you will have to use the item right away so select the pet you wish to heal and the item will be applied.

If you have a Market item you have more options. You can choose to use this item on your pet or on someone elses pet, to sell this item back to the market, or to leave it in your inventory. To use an item you will have to go to the P3tz Profile of a pet. To sell back your item in the Market simply click the value of the item in your inventory. After you confirm the action the item will be sold.

When you view a P3tz profile you will notice that under all the stuff about the pet is your inventory. This is so you can use items to feed, re-name, re-color or kill P3tz. Kill items only have a certain chance of actually killing a pet. The pet doesn't have to be yours to use an item on it. So you could feed your friends pet if they go away for a while.

Moral
Moral

Saw those pets with Devil horns and halos? And also those regular ones? Wondering how they’re different from each other? That’s explained through…

The Moral System

Located right next to your pet’s hunger bar is the Moral. This varies from -100% to 100%. Evil pets are those with negative moral, neutral with their moral in the middle, and good when they get positive levels.

Moral influences not only the appearance of pets, but it’s also important in battle. Good pets can use good spells, evil pets, evil spells, and neutral pets, neutral spells. Water and Ice are considered positive elements, Earth is neutral, Fire and Energy are negative. During battle, you’ll only be able to use the spells that are according to your pet’s moral.

So be sure not to buy the wrong spells at the magic shop next time!

Items
First off, there are two places you can buy items for your P3tz, the Market and the Vet. (you can also steal them)

Step 1: Use one of the above links to go to either the Market or the Vet. You can also use the P3tz main/dropdown menu to do this. The Market sells items to increase your pets moral or decrease it's hunger. The Vet offers items to heal your pet.

Step 2: Find the item you would like to buy. Each Item has an icon, name, description, stock level, effect, and cost. You can't buy an item if you do not have enough points or if it is out of stock. So check both these fields and only choose one you can actually purchase.

Step 3: The cost of the item is underlined in the Buy column. Click this link and a confirmation message will pop up, click ok to purchase. Once you purchase the item it will appear below all the buyable items in your inventory. This is how you know if the purchase was successful.

(Note: all steps below are optional, you don't HAVE to use your item NOW)

Step 4: Go to your P3tz main menu. You can get there by clicking the link in the P3tz drop down menu (it's the very first one), or by clicking here.

Step 5: Click on the pet that you want to use your item on. You should now see your pet, and your inventory.

Step 6: Choose the item you would like to use on your pet and click the Use Item link to the far right of each item.

Congratulations, you now know how to heal your p3tz, and keep them happy!

Basic P3tz Types

Basic Pet Types

Boosh: Boosh pets are big and strong. They have a lot of Strength and huge Defence. Their Life is also boosted. However, to compensate this, their Agility level is low. Hope not to get struck by one of those hits.

Kirog: Kirogs are primate-likely. They're the most balanced type of Pet, with regular levels of Strenght, Defense and lower Agility. Their Life is also moderate.

Roid: Looking like insects, Roids are somewhat like Kirogs, as they're pretty balanced too. The main difference is that Roids have less Strenght and Defense than Kirogs, but higher Agility and Life.

Thukat: Thukats are canine-likely. With not much Strenght or Defense, their huge Agility makes them hard to hit. Life levels aren't that high either.

Zumkat: It's not only the names that are similar. Thukats and Zumkats follow the same pattern. The Zumkats, however, convert some of their little Strenght and Defense to boost Agility and increase Life a bit. They won't hurt you much when they strike, but it'll surely be frustrating trying to hit them.

Obviously the diversity of p3tz is growing all the time - use this knowledge and apply it to the new p3tz to find a p3t most suited to you!
