I have been using YG for about 2 years and a couple of mounths ago I wanted to try some seacem flourish...well I bought some and kinda forgot about it...never opend it for about 3 mounths...well I used it for the first time this week and it looks and kinda smells like soy sauce...is this normal??

I'm not sure about smelling like soy sauce, but it does have a smell and it does get dark. That is usual. I think its probably from the vitamins.

Mine has a slight soy sauce smell. Friends of mine notice it too.

none of their other products have a smell, but flourish does. HOWEVER i think they also recommend putting flourish in the fridge when not in use... that might reduce the stench as well... never tried though

I emailed Seachem about this before.... the colour is normal. Refrigerating is to prevent fungal growth. If you get fungus, just skim off the fungus and keep using it.

I didn't ask about the smell, but mine does smell like soy sauce.
