it seems that i cant beat the thread algae that apeared in my tank after i introduced a few plants from a friend infected tank. it grows mostly on slow growing plants but i can find it everywhere in my tank.
my water parameters :
220 liters
ph 6.6-6.7
kh 5
no3 20-30 ppm
po4 0.6-1
enough FE as f.g and enough K from KCL (in my opinion at least)
light intensity n duration : 10h - 140w T5 6500k
and in the middle of the day another 5h of extra 80w. (was 220w 10h till recently but im trying to lower the intensity at the moment)

NO3 seems high. You don't say what kind of CO2 your are using. I would keep my lights at a constant level. In my tanks when I have an out break of thread algae Its been a sign of unstable CO2 levels. As soon as I got the CO2 stable It when away quickly.
