Default Help me with fert order.

Once my flourish runs out I plan on odering some watson fert. Does he have a fert that has pretty much everything I need in one mix? I have a high light tank but my plants are pretty easy growers, I have just been dosing flourish comp and iron once a week. My tank specs are 55gallon 260 watts cf, flourite with gravel and turface, i also have pressurized co2 and the tank is very heavily planted with easy stems and other forground plants. This setup works but I hate having to spend more money when I hear these dry ferts are so much cheaper. What would you suggest? Like I said I would like to get a mix that has it all in one, like csm+b?

racialfish,
You're missing macro nutrients. How's the algae in your tank? Any signs of nutrient deficiency?

The typical purchase from Greg would be KNO3, KH2PO4 and CSM+B.

It is far better to dose Greg's dry fertilizers separately, so you can adjust the amounts of each if necessary. He does stock a PMDD mix, but that is short on phosphates and nitrates, so you would need to dose them separately anyway. Most of us, I think, just dose KNO3, KH2PO4 and a trace mix, either CSM+B or a commercial liquid trace mix, such as Flourish. It is better not to dose the phosphate and the iron at the same time - they form a cloudy precipitate in the water if dosed together. And, if premixed together, the iron will mostly be in the bottom of the bottle as a sludge.

I have little algae, my lights are on for 12hrs. So what would you all suggest I get? I was thinking a pound each of KNO3, KH2PO4 and CSM+B. Does that sound ok? And aobut how long will this last me?

Your order seems about right to me, and it should last you close to a year, perhaps longer. If you get two pounds of the KNO3 it would probably last you closer to two years.
