Default Fert stock solution help?

I already am fine mixing stock solutions. Just had a few questions about mixing different chemicals together in one single stock solution. Let's just say I have 10 grams of kno3 and 10 grams of kh2po4. Each of those are mixed in separate containers of 500ml each. If I wanted to just use one 500ml container for both, do I just use 10 grams of both and mix it? Or do I mix in 5 grams of each since they are splitting the water volume? I know, a bit confusing. Maybe that's why I never did well in chemistry in college.

Hi nokturnalkid,

"10 grams of both in 500 ml. and mix it." You do have to be careful of what chemicals you mix together, but those two (and in addition you could add your K2SO4 if you wanted) are fine. Do not mix your trace elements (CSM+B) with the solution however, it will cause percipitation.

Yeah, I know about precipitation. I was just wondering about the water volume. I wasn't too sure if the chemicals would split the water volume or share it.

Thanks...
