Question What are the right fertilizers for me?

hello APC,

im new to planted aquariums and even newer to this site. i have so far grasped the concepts of Co2 and lighting.

my question for all of u today is what fertilizer are right for me?

i want a method that's easy however, the sky is the limit when it comes to my budget. so hopeful that will give me a good foundation to start from.

my set up is a 15 gallon, 24'' X 12'' X 12''

lighting is 1 X 6700K, 65 watt 24'' Coralife.

Co2: flourish Excel and DIY Co2 - 1/2 tsp yeast for faster reaction, air stone diffusion

plants are

- vallseneria

- java moss

- java fern

- hygrophila Polysperma

- Crypts

- Anubias

- amazon sword

the tank is heavily planted now

there's plenty of fish, so this might effect what fertilizers i choose.. again im new so im not 100% sure..

fish are:

- 2 Cory - C32 blochi

- 1 pleco - L204

- 10 Cherry shrimp

- 7 guppies

Substrate: bottom layer ADA aqua soil and top layer eco-complete!

would flourish and flourish trace be enough?

im already using flourish excel for the extra carbon.

would these 3 additives be enough?

i look forward to hearing people's input and suggestions,
thank you

I'd agree. I started with it just about two months ago and it really is shaping up nicely for that amount of time....

I ordered the dry ferts here and I was very happy with the transaction:

http://aquariumfertilizer.com/

but, there are a number of other sources. I dose the ferts dry right into the tank''s water using "measuring spoons" that are the kind you get in a kitchen goods store.

That's it just a few minutes ago...tomorrow is the requisite 50% water change and some cutting back. This had been a well established tank but after a CO2 "mishap" I had to start all over again with all new plants. When I first started with the EI dosing, I got a serious algae coverage on the plants and it looked very nasty. In the last two weeks or so, it really balanced out and I'm pretty pleased.

thanks guys but im already aware of EI, i don't understand it fully and it sounds like if i mess up ill kill my fish.

can anyone address my other question:

would flourish and flourish trace be enough?

im already using flourish excel for the extra carbon.

would these 3 additives be enough?

im also using 2 very good substrates so that probably counts for something.

thanks

Seachem does make Nitrogren, Potassium and Phosphate supplements if you would be more comportable using those for NPK. But, it will cost you alot more in the long run than using dry ferts from aquariumfertilizer.com.
