That means if you put 1.1 ml of Fleet in your tank you will have 2 ppm of phosphate in your tank water.
If your are trying to mix the Fleet with something else (which I do not recommend unless you are a chemist) you need to add the volume of the other stuff to the volume of Fleet. So if you dose 3.9 ml of other stuff and add 1.1 ml of Fleet you will add a total of 5.0 ml to your tank. Since I don’t know what the other stuff is I cannot give you any recommendation on the exact amount to add to your tank but adding 1.1 ml of Fleet will result in a final concentration of 2 ppm phosphates in your tank. |
Hello Ray,
Thank you for the reply to my question. I was trying to do it from the "Find percent Solution Of Nutrient In Water" drop down menu, from the fertilator "Main Menu". From that menu it gives you the option to choose Fleet Enema, but it asks you for "Amount of Dry Compound Added" so I was a bit confused because it only gives you Grams, dry. But, from the Main Menu, yes, I see it now, exactly what you are saying. The "Amount of Dry Compound Added" on the other menu threw me off a bit, because, after all, Fleet is a solution. Anyway, thanks for the help Ray, problem solved. I'll just use the Main menu where you said, and do the math. I mix NPK by the liter, so thats easy enough. I read somewhere that someone thought that part of the fertilator, as far as Fleet Enema goes, isn't accurate??? Would you agree with that?? I am using it now and everything is pearling nicely, with no signs of algae in a well planted, long established tank. I can't find PO4 dry here in Thailand. Fleet is the only option, and none of the other calculators I have found on line offer the Fleet Enema option. I'll stick with it, as I see no problems. I like the fertilator and hope it continues to develope.
Cheers, and all the best.
Regards,
Singtoh
