using a wide bubble rod, sitting low down at one end of the tank.

not a big fan of thread algae but it does assist in showing water flow through the tank.

the bottom the threads all pulled towards the bubble rod, the top all the threads were away from it.

creating a cheap very gentle water flow through the tank
