Default Questions on Dosing Ferts (How long without)

I will not have access to my Planted Tanks for around
3 days..

I was planning on doing a 50% water changes on all
to Reset everything..

What I go through the most in KNO3.
Should I just up the Ferts a Bit on these ( usually I go by
a 10:1 etc.) and/or just keep everything the same but
just back down on the Lights to reduce uptake..
These are High lit tanks 3-5 WPG...

Thanks..........

Hi
Three days is nothing, three weeks would be a problem. You can simply up NO3 to 20 ppm, PO4 to 2 ppm and Mg, K accordingly. I do this too and all is fine even under high light.

So by doing this basically your eliminating or close to,
Bottoming out it sounds like .
Of course, this would depend on your uptake I would imagine.... In my case, NO3 is the biggie..
PO4 I really only dose once per wk. to attain the 1.5-2 mark....

The one particular tank has only been up and running for
around 4 wks. now.. (37 gal. 175 watt halide 10k. and
Pressurized tank w/Reactor)
I have the lights on only for around 4-5 hrs. for this..
Wonder if I could increase on this??

Yes, add 10hours and make certain the CO2 is good. CO2 , CO2 CO2....hehe, get the point there?

That will be the main issue at this point.
