can't really tell what it is in the 1st pic, need a better picture
the one in the 2nd pic is BBA, which is a result of insufficient/inconsistent CO2.

The first is the same as the second but their is also a dark green algae that grows short green hairs. My drop checker ia always a greenish yellow. It the morning its a greenish blue. Could the fertilizers have anything to do with it?

do you turn on your co2 1-2 hours prior to lights? how much flow do you have in your tank, insufficient flow could be the cause too. to treat it, manually remove as much as you can, then turn off your filtration/flow and spot treat with excel.

Sorry it's been so long since my last post. It's been crazy. I've lost a bunch of plants after my tank had crashed. One day everything was fine the next one of my discus died the next i lost one more and the water was just milky white. Chemistry was completely wacked. Like i said a few three or so species of plants died off. All i did is my normal maintenance of filtration and water changes. I did start using carbon again. The last time i took carbon out of my filter i soon started getting algae. I would like to get some of the plants that died off again.
