Default Macro and Micro going bad

PPS PRO - Is it possible for macro and micro to go bad? usually how long can you keep them until they go bad? What are some of the signs to look for?

Macro solutions - Normally stable and do not go bad. Can be preserved w/ ~5% Excel.

Micro solutions - More unstable (due to the intrinsic nature of Fe). Store in the dark or refrigerate. Can be preserved w/ ~5% Excel. If micro solutions go bad, it's usually due to mold / fungus growing in solution.

All solutions can (eventually) support algae growth so checking for algae or growth in the solutions bottles periodically is a good idea. This is also why the addition of Excel is a good idea.

yes, they should be good. Another thing i forgot to mention - the solutions should not have any precipitates after they are made up. if you see anything precipitate out of solution after they are made, be sure to give them a good shake to bring everything back into solution...
